3 Tools You Must Provide To Your Affiliates to Promote Your Membership Site

A majority of membership websites are heavily reliant on affiliates maximize their promotion efforts and recruit as many members as possible.  However, in order to ensure that your affiliates are as successful as possible, it is your job to provide them with the right tools.  Here is a quick list of the most important tools that you must provide to your affiliates.

1. Text

When it comes to creating text for your army of affiliates, there are a variety of different items that you can and should create for them.  Creating classified ad texts have become increasingly popular as venues such as Craigslist and FreeAds have become a more commonly used tool of affiliate marketers.  Another option is to create a pre-written blog post or series of blog posts that your affiliates can use.  The blog post can be a site review, site preview, or a simple pre-salespage.  Along the same lines as creating blog posts is creating articles that can be submitted to article directories.

If you are looking to provide your affiliates with more intense tools, providing rebrandable short-reports and ebooks is a great idea as well.  This type of tool not only has the ability to go viral, but also gives potential members a preview of the quality that they can expect from your membership site.  If you over-deliver, then there is a much greater chance that it will be an effective tool.

2. Images

It is important to provide a variety of images in several sizes.  These images will be used primarily as banner ads, however they also serve as an easy way to create brand recognition.  They will also be used as a compliment to the text in classified ads and blog posts.  Very few affiliates will create images on their own, so you must provide them.  Additionally, many affiliates will not even promote a product that does not provide images and/or banner ads.  Images are often considered as a minimum tool when affiliates are determining how seriously you are committed to helping your affiliates

3.  Audio/Video

While providing audio and/or video as an affiliate tool is not yet considered to be a necessity, it is a great way to ensure that you attract the maximum number of affiliates.  Video is considered to be a premium tool will definitely make your program look legitimate and worthwhile.  The easiest thing for an affiliate to do is to take your videos and simply insert them into their website.

The three basic types of affiliate tools are: text, images, and audio/video.  By providing all of these tools to your affiliates, it is much more likely that you will attract more affiliates, as well as help those affiliates make as much money as possible.  This will keep your affiliates promoting your membership website longer and more aggressively than they otherwise would.
